The front panel is molded plastic with raised neon colored graphics that are back lit by the fluorescent bulbs inside the light box that simulates the look of a real neon sign. Very unique piece of McDonalds history. Plug to turn on and unplug to turn off. The aluminum red painted box frame is sturdy and there is galvanized sheet metal on the back. The front panel is pushed in a bit but it can probably easily be pushed out if opened up. Please check out my photos for exact condition. Original label still attached on the back.
