Excellent mint sheet metal red neon sign with Lightbox front. Quite well sized at approx 70cm wide. Looks to have been part of the decor in a high end garage or supplies shop. Came from King’s Road area of Chelsea, London. Electronics are as new, original from the 1960s but checked over for security and safety by an electrician. No dents in metal but some of the original brown paint on the back has chipped off as pictured. Great original patina on the paint around the edge of the bezel. Made in London by Neoflo Signs ltd, Putney Bridge Road. Original sticker to rear. It stands on three legs with atomic space age mid century ball style feet, intact. Otherwise can be hung in a window or from a ceiling with the hangers on top. Iconic piece of British advertising with a hint of Americana.
