Vintage 1950s Janitrol Illuminated Shop Window Light Box By Neon Products Inc (Ohio). Condition is used and has marks, rust spots and shows signs of use. This sign is approx 60-70 years old. The perspex front is not chipped, it is scratched and marked from 70 years of use and cleaning. The sign has been re wired with new flex/plug and digital ballast. The ballast was not working and all the wiring was the original wiring and was frayed and the cores exposed. The casing has also been earthed. I have left the original ballast in situ along with the starter. The digital ballast does not need the starter. The sign works perfectly and is a real looker. It was manufactured by Neon Products inc from Lima Ohio. These signs are pretty rare now and even more so in the UK. It looks great hanging on the wall or on a shelf.
