Vintage PEARL BEER XXX Sign. These are tough to come by and this one is in amazing shape for its age. Features the classic Pearl Lager Beer logo with the iconic XXX that has represented Pearl since before prohibition. This is the older version with the GOLD case and BROWN colored front lense that is layered in a way that gives it much more depth, dimension and variation in the way the viewer sees the light and colors. The newer ones from the 80’s are much more cheaply/less artistically made with a black plastic case and front lense that just puts out a flat light. This version was made in the late 60’s/early 70’s. The only flaws being the tiny scrapes in the front lense (you have to look for them to notice them). Everything else is in great shape. The light comes right on when you plug it in and the plastic is still strong and flexible.. Not at all brittle. Sticker on the back says it was made by Display Corporation and provides instructions for cleaning and re-lamping the sign. Sign measures 19″ X 13″ X 3.
