While I don’t know the clock’s history, I do feel it was used as part of storefront sign or on a building facade. The clock has minute and hour movement only and runs smoothly and quiet and is clean as seen in the photo with movement cover removed, but should probably have a maintenance cleaning do to it’s age. The dial cover rim has at least 6 or 7 coats of paint of various colors and has it’s patina, and the dial base seems to have been black it’s whole life with far less coats and would benefit from some touch-up to cover of the exposed bare metal.
