Vintage Neon Frigidaire Appliances Advertisement Sign. You are looking at one very cool sign. It is not working because of a couple of breaks in the glass tubing. The A in appliances, The R/E in Frigidaire. While they are minor they are still broken which means the sign will not light. The sign is 41 long on the aluminum band. It is 12 tall. There are silhouette letters behind the neon. There might be a missing piece on top of the A in Frigidaire. I cannot tell if the letter is shaped like that or missing a small piece. The original chain is still attached. The neon letters are about 4 1/2 tall. I did not clean any of the sign. It has a touch of surface dirt/dust to be removed. Vintage Frigidaire Appliances embossed neon porcelain sign w milk glass BIG. Frigidaire Appliances embossed neon porcelain sign w milk glass insert from the 1940’s. The sign is approx 70 inches wide by 27 inches tall by 5 inches thick. The sign does not have the end caps or the back, or the internal can that would house the transformer. The colors on the sign are great!! There are a few chips in the porcelain. The milk glass is still intact which is rare for these signs. Usually the glass is always broken and missing. The sign was made by Artkraft from Lima, Ohio. There is a photo of the small placque on the top edge of the sign. There is some wood bracing in the back of the sign to keep it straight.
