One of a kind piece of History.. Sub-Type: Neon Light Sign. Saying: Safety First Think of You Family. From: Rath Packing Company. Location: Waterloo, Iowa Plant. Age: 1950’s-1960’s. Condition: As I lightly rub a micro fiber on the bulbs I can see the neon light up. There doesn’t appear to be any leaks/breaks. Some of the black has come off of the bulbs from years of exposure/drying. I lightly microfiber dusted the it, but it will need a Professional cleaning/maintenance. I have added pictures of the guts/inside workings of this sign, but since this was attached to pole the power cord seems to have been removed. The front has Plexiglas that seems to have been added years after the sign was made. I usually remove it since it has a glare to it. Size: 47 1/4″ Wide by 34″ Tall by 9 1/2 Deep. The wall mount brackets are 37 1/2″ Tall by 1 1/4″ Wide, Front of the sign is 46″ Wide by 32″ Tall (section that houses the neon bulbs). Note: Without the wall mount brackets it should sit upright otherwise you will have to prop it up with bricks under the front or mount it to a wall. It just has screws holding the brackets onto the sign. It is over 100 pounds. I have packaged bigger and more fragile packages than this one. I already know what materials I will use. Note: You MUST have a Home or Business address to order this item. Box addresses on this listing at all. You will have to sign for this packaging. It is a big item. Message me with any concerns. You will have to attach the two bracket pieces on back as I will be removing them to keep the size down. They take a flat head screwdriver. Thank you for viewing my ad!
