Vintage Ballantine Beer electric lighted wall clock & sign. Very cool vintage light – seems rare. Light and clock work, but please see video: There is flickering and one of the bulbs seems to be dead. I assume all of the bulbs just need to be replaced, but possibly the contacts need cleaned as well. The beer sign is transparent and can be removed. It has 1967 P. Ballantine & Sons, Newark, N. Under the beer sign is a crack, but it does not affect functionality. The clock hands are slightly bent and some of the color has come off. There is a wire on the back for hanging and a small chain under the clock face to turn the light on and off. The plug is rather short, so you may need an extension cord.

This is an older Ballantine Beer lighted ships wheel made by Neon Products. The sign is in good looking and working condition. The label on the bottle is bubble up in spots and has some scratches. There is some paint wear on the plastic (see close up sixth photo) section where it says Ballantine Beer. The back case is metal and the ships wheel is plastic. This light up nicely and the tips of the handles even light up. This measures almost 21 inches across and sticks out 3 1/2 inches. Overall this is a nice looking sign to add to your collection. Look at the photos to judge the condition for yourself. I’m not an expert on every item I sell so if I forgot to mention something just ask and I’ll try to answer your question. This is a vintage Ballantine clock and does show signs of age related wear. The clock runs well with a constant moving second hand. The original style starter/bulb is in use. Can be update to LED if needed. I believe this to be dated from the late 50’s into the early 1960’s. Clock measures 9-1/2″ x 9-1/2″.
