Super Rare LONE STAR BEER ARMADILLO Neon Sign. This is the impossible to find neon version of the iconic Lone Star Armadillo shield. The metal painted version of this sign is quite common, this neon version is nearly impossible to get a hold of. This is a huge neon that measures 35″ Wide X 24″ Tall X 5 Deep. Front of the sign says it was made 2001, meaning this sign is already 15/16 years old and still in perfect condition. Just pull the string and it lights right up. Comes with a hanging bracket mounted on the back. Cosmetically its in near perfect shape with the only flaw being the tiny paint scrape under the word BEER to the right of the 2001 Lone Star Brewing Co. (close-up in photo #11). This would be easily fixed with some minor touch-ups with a close matching blue paint or nail polish. I never attempted to fix it because when hanging and lit its not very noticeable. The tubing is in great shape and lights up a nice bright white. No dim spots and the blackout paint between and behind the tubes is in pretty good shape, some minor flaking which is to be expected but does not detract from the light output or compromise the durability of the glass itself.. This would make an excellent addition to any Texas Beer / Shiner / Lone Star collection, man cave, or even a movie prop collection. This is a large sign that measures 36″ Wide X 24″ Tall X about 10 Deep. Sticker on the back says it was made July 2nd, 2001, meaning this sign is already 14 years old and still in perfect condition.
