1940s Standard Beer Vintage Neon Sign from Cleveland Ohio. Sign works well and has its original metal frame. It is roughly 11 across at the bottom and 21 across at the top. It is roughly 12 from top to bottom. It has original neon tubing with some flaking on the blackout paint and some rust on the steel frame. Not a common sign. This is a window hanging sign. This piece is sturdy and basically sound with weathered exterior as shown. There is a Thordason Ballast evident on the right side as seen from the top. The neon is all gone with bits here and there also as shown. Certainly a wonderful relic from a by gone era. With some restoration this can become a working neon sign once again.
