1940s Standard Beer Vintage Neon Sign from Cleveland Ohio. Sign works well and has its original metal frame. It is roughly 11 across at the bottom and 21 across at the top. It is roughly 12 from top to bottom. It has original neon tubing with some flaking on the blackout paint and some rust on the steel frame. Not a common sign. This is a window hanging sign. 1940’s GRUEN Watches Antique Vintage Neon Clock LACKNER Edge Lit Neon sign CLEAN. Condition is as shown and Used. This clock example is very rare. Seldom found and especially in this nice of condition. Edge lit acrylic gives off a brilliant glow. The Stainless bezel houses the neon and electronics while backlighting the opaque word GRUEN. Measurements are: 24 inches (Tall) x 18inches (Wide) x 3 inches (Deep). It works perfect as intended. Tells time and keeps time well. Neon has its original hanging chain as well as hands and second hand. No humming or buzzing. The clock was born in the 1940’s and is coming up on 80 years old. You won’t see another like this for sometime. Made by Lackner in Cincinnati Ohio. Lackner is a high end well known Neon advertising company that opened in the 1930s.
